Meet Ben Carr, founder and owner of So.Crete. Ben entered the home remodeling and design industry in 2012, later founding his first construction company in 2016. 

So, why concrete? Ben observed firsthand as the demand in his industry began trending toward concrete countertops, wall panels, and furniture. These trends piqued his interest and eventually spurred his commitment to learning the art of forming and mixing concrete. Driven by his newfound passion, he purchased the molds and equipment to begin creating his own custom pieces. What started as a hobby quickly became an asset to his construction company, giving it the infrastructure, expertise, and capabilities it needed to offer beautiful concrete designs, products, and services. In no time, Ben installed nearly 30 custom concrete countertops, islands, and sinks. Thrilled by the success, he decided to go all in with Southern Concrete Creations, later rebranded to So.Crete.  

So.Crete now operates as a full-service design studio and shop specializing in high-end concrete creations that are handmade to order. So.Crete aims to produce elegant and attractive pieces of the highest quality, and all items are proudly manufactured in the United States of America.
